Taru: "We've been together for five months, now, some of the best days of my life, I can hardly help laughing. The weather's getting a bit cooler now, but we keep life warm-- he keeps life warm. Yesterday we visited my parents, ended up on the driveway drawing chalk with the neighbor boy. Lasse put his art studies to good use, drawing a world of pale pink and yellow cities, a blue ocean and an enormous purple whale; it all reminded me of album art and I felt like those pictures of brides or girls blowing bubbles in magazines- like my happiness is too perfect, glossy, complete, to be true."
Lasse: "I have had to realize that without her, I'm not really who I am really. Her voice is almost rusty with laughter and wisdom. Everything I'm doing has been building and growing stronger since I found her. It's like-- okay, yesterday, we were at her parents, and she was just so bright that we couldn't really stay inside, so I told her parents we were going for a walk, and then, there was this kid drawing chalks on his driveway, so of course we joined him. Taru looks really pretty with chalk smudged on her fingers; I drew her a city and I was completely happy."

This is unrelentingly romantic.
I like it.
Everyone should stop and draw chalk with the neighbour kid.
